Savina Dhillon joined PGS Law as an articling student in October, 2022 and was called to the bar in October of 2023. She studied Political Science and Sociology at the University of British Columbia before obtaining her Juris Doctor at the University of Alberta.
During her time at law school, Savina developed a passion for family law. She volunteered with the Edmonton Community Legal Center’s Family Law Clinic, as a Student Legal Services’ caseworker, and as a youth outreach worker assisting low-income community members with a variety of legal matters.
As an executive member of the Women’s Law Forum, she facilitated a panel discussion with two Justices of the Court of Queen’s Bench of Alberta on the importance of access to justice. In 2021, Savina was awarded the Jean McBean Q.C. Award in Law for her community contributions and leadership in social justice initiatives.
In her spare time, Savina enjoys walking trails with her dog and cooking. Savina is fluent in Punjabi.
