Tamana Sediqi graduated from Simon Fraser University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree, and a minor in Legal Studies. She also received a Juris Doctorate degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 2018 and was called to the British Columbia Bar in May 2019.
Ms. Sediqi completed her articles at a small litigation boutique firm and later joined as an Associate practicing primarily in the area of family law and civil litigation. Ms. Sediqi’s genuine desire to work closely with clients and her passion for applying her specialized knowledge and practical skills in various family law disputes allows her to provide her clients with effective and creative solutions to various types of family law matters. Ms. Sediqi has successfully represented clients at mediations, four-way meetings, Family Case Conferences, Judicial Case Conferences, and has been a strong advocate in both Provincial and Supreme Court of British Columbia.
While Ms. Sediqi has extensive experience in various litigation matters and has strong advocacy skills representing her clients, she endeavours to resolve her client’s disputes outside of the court whenever possible, through negotiation, mediation and arbitration.
Ms. Sediqi is a member of the Trial Lawyers Association of British Columbia and is an active volunteer with Access Pro-Bono Society of BC where she provides clients with summary advice and pursues her goal of providing access to justice in BC.
